Whether you’re shooting a client session, filming content, or testing lighting setups, our studios give you everything you need for a smooth and efficient creative experience.

Each membership package includes full access to both Studio One and Studio Two, seamless photography backdrops, professional studio lighting, the lounge and waiting area, and a selection of studio props. Members also receive access to the shared private storage room, priority booking over non-members, and the ability to purchase additional studio hours at exclusive discounted rates.

Studio Rental & Membership Terms & Conditions
Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all studio users, including hourly renters and members. By booking or purchasing a membership, you agree to all policies below.

 1. Studio Access & Inclusions

All studio users receive access to:

• Studio One and Studio Two (based on your booking)
• Seamless photography backdrops
• Professional studio lighting
• Lounge / waiting area
• Limited photography props

Members also receive:
• Priority booking
• Discounted add-on hours
• Access to private storage room
• Additional storage options depending on membership tier

 

2. Studio Rental Options

 Hourly Rentals

• Booked at the standard studio hourly rates
• Time includes setup and cleanup
• Payment required at the time of booking
• No membership required

 Membership Plans

Bronze, Silver, and Gold memberships include monthly hours, priority access, discounted additional hours, and exclusive member benefits. Hours reset monthly and do not roll over.

 


 

3. Booking Rules (All Users)

• All bookings must be made through the official booking system
• Setup and cleanup time must be included in your booking
• Back-to-back bookings require two separate reservations
• Bookings are non-transferable

Members must be physically present for any session booked under their membership.
Clients cannot be left alone in the studio.

 


 

4. Overtime Policy (All Users)

• All users must end and vacate the studio at their scheduled end time.
• Any time used beyond the booked session is considered overtime and will be charged accordingly.
• Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments at the applicable hourly rate.
• For members, overtime counts as extra hours and is billed at their discounted rate.
• Repeated overtime violations may result in additional fees or suspension of booking privileges.

 


 

5. Cancellation Policy (All Users)

 

Hourly Rentals

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before booking → eligible for credit
• Cancellations made within 24 hours → full charge applies
• No refunds for no-shows

 

Membership Users

• Sessions canceled within 24 hours → deducted from monthly hours
• Sessions canceled more than 24 hours ahead → hours are returned
• No refunds for unused hours

Client cancellations or personal emergencies do not override this policy.

 


 

6. Rescheduling Policy (All Users)

• Must be requested at least 24 hours before session
• Reschedules within 24 hours count as a cancellation
• Based on availability

 


 

7. Additional Hour Fees

 

Hourly Renters

• Standard studio rates apply

 Members

Discounted rates based on membership tier:
• Bronze: Studio One $30/hr, Studio Two $50/hr
• Silver: Studio One $28/hr, Studio Two $45/hr
• Gold: Studio One $25/hr, Studio Two $40/hr

Additional hours must be paid before the session starts.

 


 

8. Peak Hour Access Rules

Peak hours include evenings, weekends, and high-demand days.

Hourly renters:
• Can book any available peak-hour slot

Members:
• Gold: Full peak access with highest priority
• Silver: Priority access to peak hours
• Bronze: Peak access only when available

The studio may adjust peak-hour definitions based on demand.

 


 

9. Clean-Up Rules (All Users)

Before leaving the studio:

• Return props to their designated area
• Reset lights and stands
• Remove all trash
• Wipe surfaces used
• Leave backdrops tidy
• Sweep or vacuum if needed

A $25 cleaning fee may apply for excessive mess.
Repeated issues may result in suspension or loss of access.

 


 

10. Abuse-Prevention Clauses

The following actions are not allowed:

• Sharing membership benefits
• Renting on behalf of other photographers
• Overbooking or blocking time unnecessarily
• Leaving the studio in poor condition
• Misuse or damage of backdrops, lighting, or props
• Attempting to bypass extra-hour fees
• Disorderly or unsafe conduct

The studio may suspend or cancel access without refund for policy violations.

 


 

11. Liability

• OAK Photography is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property
• Users assume all risk associated with equipment use and sessions
• Damage caused by user negligence will be billed to the user

 


 

12. No Client-Alone Rentals (All Users)

Clients or guests cannot use or roam the studio without the photographer present.

This applies to:
✔ Hourly renters
✔ Members
✔ Assistants
✔ MUAs
✔ Models

Violation may result in termination of membership or refusal of future bookings.

 


 

13. Policy Updates

The studio reserves the right to update fees, rules, or policies at any time.
Members and renters will be notified of major changes.

No. The photographer must be present at all times.


6. What if I need more hours?

Hourly renters can book at the standard studio rate.

7. What is the cancellation policy?

12. What happens if the studio equipment breaks while I’m using it?

Report it immediately. Damage from negligence may result in charges.
